NMC TECHNICIAN CHOSEN AS CAT ULTIMATE TECHNICIAN

Omaha, Neb. (June 2013) – NMC, Inc. is proud to announce Chris Thomsen, a local technician for Nebraska-based Caterpillar equipment dealer NMC, as one of three selected for the Cat® Ultimate Technician national recruiting campaign.

A full scale marketing campaign including print ads, videos and social media interaction is planned to help recruit technicians to become a part of the Cat dealer network.

“The video and recruiting campaign is not only great for NMC as a Cat dealer, it is also great recognition for Nebraska and the City of Omaha,” said Jessica McCormick, Vice President of Workforce Strategy at NMC. The campaign video is live on the Caterpillar, Inc. YouTube page (http://youtu.be/F_mtr_-53MI ) and narrated by TV personality Mike Rowe.

Out of several nominees throughout North America, Thomsen was selected to take part in the national campaign. As an EPG (Electric Power Group) Service Supervisor his role at NMC is to support and service the engine division. His work at NMC has led him to advance in his position and also allows him to travel to remote locations including Barbuda, located in the Caribbean.
